District Ministers' Family Fellowship Day at VMC August 31Carolina Pastors Gathering
175 gathered for the 2nd annual Ministers' Family Fellowhip Day at VMC this past Sunday. God blessed us with excellend weather, a great time of fellowship. Pastor Dan was able to come to the office today after dodging all the water balloons launched at him.

Pastor Transitions
Pastor James Brewer has accepted the call to pastor Troy Wesleyan Church. Pastor James has been serving as Pastor at Browns Chapel Christian Church near Robbins, NC.

Carolina Pastors Gathering
Sept. 10-12 at Oak Island, (Camp Caswell) North Carolina. Speaker will be Pastor Kerry Willis, Lead pastor of Harrisonburg First Church of the Nazarene, Harrisonburg, VA. Don't miss the time of renewal and fellowship. Registration this year is better than we have had for the past several years.

New Pastor Orientation will be Sept. 18 at District Office
All new pastors and assistant pastors will have an orientation on Sept 18. Meet at the district office at 10am.

Growing Pastor Advanced Leadership Training Session Location Announced for September
The Down East Session will be held at the Goldsboro Wesleyan Church, Sept. 22.
The Piedmont Session will be held at Foster St. Wesleyan Church in Asheboro on Sept. 23.
Pastor Dan will be speaking at the sessions on "Five Keys to Changing the Culture."

NINE BAPTIZED AT OLD ZION - Pastor Billy Roy of Tabor City Old Zion Wesleyan Church recently baptized nine believers - eight of whom were children saved during this summer's Vacation Bible School.
